LO2 Legal and Ethical

Three examples my magazine could break the law:

  • Take a picture of someones car (Including the reg plate) without their permission
  • I could be in trouble if there is anybody's face in the photograph if they have not given permission (especially children)
  • If I use any copyright material in my magazine

Law #1

Obscene Publications Act 1959

How you would avoid creating content which would contravene the Obscene publications act:

To avoid breaking the obscene publications act I will not put any sensitive pictures or pictures of anyone in my magazine as this could cause offensive.

Law #2

The Defamation Act 2013

Print something which could cause serious harm to their reputation
and a company if its significant loss off profit and sales

To avoid breaking the defamation act 2013 I will not write really bad things about a car without significant proof as it could have effected the sales for that company

Law #3

Copyright Law

How you would avoid creating content which would contravene the copy right law:

To avoid breaking the copyright law i will be Creating every bit of writing and pictures used in my magazine.

Law #4

Negligent Publications

If you print something to follow you're not encouraging them to do something

you can easily change your air filter in your car must say "Make sure you take it to the garage to make sure it is safely done"

"At your own risk" , "Nothing beyond your own ability"

To avoid breaking the negligent publications I will not encourage people to chip there car by themselves without saying "make sure you take it to a garage so it can be safely done"
