LO1 - Target Audience

The target audience that my magazine is aimed for will be:

• Aimed at predominatly Males
• People who like cars or want to find out about different cars if they're looking to change there car or buy a new one
• Aged 16-35

LO1 - Magazine names

I have chosen 3 different names which I could possibly use for the name of my magazine

Name 1: "Fast Generation Magazine"

The positives of the name "Fast generation" is that a lot of the cars I have in mind of using are quite fast and they have been born into this generatio so it perfectly explains the cars

The bad thing about using this is that I will be doing a variety of cars whether it be old/slow or fast 

 

Name 2: "Highest Ratio Magazine"

The positives of the name "Highest Ratio Magazine" is that unlike the name before it doesn't specify what type of car it will be about unlike the first one when it has fast in it when im doing it about a variety

The negatives of this name is that it doesn't have "car" anywhere in the title so people won't think that it's about cars

Name 3: "Flow car Magazine"

The positive of the name "Flow Car Magazine" is that it has the word "car" in it so people will know that it's about cars and not something else

The negatives of this name is that it has the word flow which people will think has no relevence and is pointless

LO1 - Task 2

Idea 1 - Car Magazine

For this idea I was going to do a magazine about a variety of different cars by a variety of different car manufacturers where I would be able to take many different pictures of cars and talk about the specifications on them and a personal review from the owner saying what they like about the car and what they don't like about the car. I would also be able to give my personal opinion by looking at the car and going inside it. I would also be able to ask opinions from people saying what they would rate the car on looks and what they like or dislike by looking at the car.

• What people think about it / rates on the looks of it

Idea 2 - Gaming Magazine

For this idea I wanted to do an xbox magazine where I would talk about the xbox 360 and xbox one with comparisons. I would also talk about games which have just been realised for each of them and talk about what I think about the game,like and dislike and also get opinions from other people with myself adding a rating of the game out of 5. I would look at a variety of different genre of games and not just shooting or driving game where I could talk about new releases for either xbox 360 or xbox one

Idea 3 - Film Magazine

For this idea I wanted to look at a variety of different films under a variety of different categories of films where I would be able to give the film a rating and talk about my personal opinion of the film where I can talk about what I like or dislike about the film. I will also be able to ask people for there opinion on the film and what they found good or bad so I could also ask what they would rate the film. I will also ask about what films they like and why to give any recomendations of good films to viewers and I will also be able to talk about the film stating when it came out, what actors are in it, whats the storyline ect...
